Creating a New User Account
Who needs to create an account?
Everyone. As of September 1st, training registration moved to a new system (the Extranet), which requires all users to create an account before registering for workshops. If you need to register multiple staff from your agency, you will have to create a Username and Password for each staff member, which you will use each time you are registering individual staff members for a workshop.
Why did United Way move training registration to a new system?
The decision was based on feedback that CYD gathered from workshop participants in focus groups, and during trainings. The new system allows users to manage their own account information, and once users create a Username and Password, they are now able to register and cancel workshops themselves.
I am an employee of a youth-serving agency. How do I create an account?
Use the Agency Search to find your agency, and select it from the Search Results. If your agency does not appear in the Search Results, please provide your Agency Information (including EIN) when registering for a new username and password.
Why does it ask for my agency's EIN (Employer Identification Number)?
This is to help identify your agency. An EIN is not required to search for an agency, but if you are an employee of a youth-serving agency and your agency does not appear in the Search Results, you must provide your agency's EIN when registering for a new username and password. You will only need the EIN the FIRST time you are registering your agency. (For more help, please contact citi@uwsepa.org or 215-665-2660).
Volunteers / Mentors
What if I am not an employee of a youth-serving organization (i.e. Volunteer/Mentor)? How do I create an account?
Volunteers/Mentors can create an account by reading the instructions under New Users that state: "If you are not staff affiliated with an agency or company, please click here to register," and then following the instructions.
